Frequently Asked Questions
Care instructions
I bake all my painted glass items to make them permanent. However, if they are soaked for long periods of time this can loosen the paint. I do not recommend washing them in the dishwasher, they will last much longer if you hand wash all your hand painted items.
Custom and personalized orders
Many items do have the option to customize or personalize. If you see an item that does not have that option but you want to personalize it, please contact me to see if that's possible. Also, if you want the personalized text in a different color than what I'm offering, let me know.
I do love custom work because it brings out my creativity and allows me to try new designs. If you want a design that you don't see listed, please contact me to work out the details and cost. (During the busy holiday season I very often don't have time for custom orders as they are much more time consuming.)
Sizing details
How are glasses measured (fluid ounce capacity)?
I use the measurement provided by the manufacturer of each glass.
The industry standard is to measure the fluid ounce capacity of glasses by filling them to the rim. This is the only way of consistently measuring because what is full to one person isn't necessarily the same for another person.
How many glasses per order?
We mostly sell glasses individually so our customers can buy exactly the number of each design that they want.
Some of our listings may be sets of glasses and in that case, the listing will mention exactly how many glasses are in the order.
